SMS Opt-In & Consent Documentation
How end users consent to SMS on the Chimera OS platform
Chimera OS, operated by AIY ENTERPRISE LLC, provides customer messaging for participating local home-service businesses. Every business on the platform collects SMS consent the same way — through a web form with two separate, unchecked consent checkboxes: one for service (transactional) messages, and a separate one for marketing messages. This page shows that opt-in mechanism and its exact consent language for carrier review.
The consent checkboxes shown to end users (live)
Below are the two SMS consent checkboxes as they appear on a participating business's web quote form. Marketing consent is a separate checkbox from service consent. Both are optional and unchecked by default — submitting the form does not require either.
Get your free quote
Tell us what you need — we'll text you a price fast.
The opt-in flow
Visit a participating business's quote form
An end user goes to the business's website and opens its "Get a quote" form.
Enter their details
They enter their name, mobile phone number, the service they need, and address — because they want a price texted back.
Give explicit SMS consent
They check the optional, unchecked-by-default consent checkbox shown above. The form submits with or without it — consent to promotional texts is never required to get a quote.
Submit
The consent choice is stored with the lead. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.
Consent language (verbatim)
Service / transactional checkbox
"I agree to receive text messages from [Business Name], powered by Chimera OS, about my quote, scheduling, and service updates. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help." · Privacy Policy · Terms
Marketing checkbox (separate, optional)
"Optional: I'd also like to receive occasional promotions and special offers from [Business Name] by text. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."
The two checkboxes are independent. A customer can consent to service messages without consenting to marketing; marketing consent is never bundled with, or required for, transactional consent or the quote.
Live example on a participating business
The opt-in checkbox is live on participating businesses' forms today. For example, at apex-lander.web.app (Apex Home Solutions), clicking "Get your free quote" opens the form with the same consent checkbox. A screenshot of that live form:
